last night just as I had put it on to preheat the bottom element flared and burned :shock:

Well I thought this is my chance to hit Gramps for a new stove with 2 ovens (they would be so handy at holiday times) but being a practical man (another word for tightwad lol) he said no we can buy another element for around 40 dollars and he can install it himself :swoon:

So today we are going element shopping, now doesn't that sound like a fun way to spend a Sunday :lmao

Sounds like a wonderful Sunday to me Gran, enjoy my friend, and I hope you get your stove fixed.....maybe if the element isn't available, you just might get the lovely new stove that you have been keeping your eye on....Good Luck my friend :kiss

oh Gran im sorry your oven died and Gramps wanted to fix it rather than buy a new one...men are very cruel at times...you could always let the tyres on the car down and lose keys etc...or pull rank on Gramps and demand your new stove :stinker:
